How quoting works

Start with what you have.

A finished drawing helps, but it isn't required. A photo, a sketch with rough measurements, or an old part is enough to start the conversation.

  1. Send the details

Use the quote form, send a text, or email. Attach drawings, photos or sketches if you have them.

  2. We review the job

Lucas looks at the scope, material and location, and contacts you with any questions.

  3. You get a clear quote

A written price and scope, so you know what's included before any work starts.

  4. Fabrication & delivery

Built in the shop, then picked up, delivered or installed as agreed in the quote.

Questions

Before you ask for a quote.

Don't see your question? Text 352-530-7750.

What information do you need for a quote?

What you need made or repaired, approximate size, quantity, material if you know it, where the work is, and when you need it. Photos and drawings help a lot. If you're missing details, send what you have and we'll ask about the rest.

Can I send a drawing, photo or sketch?

Yes. The quote form accepts PDFs, images and CAD files (DXF, DWG, STEP). A phone photo of a hand sketch with measurements is fine too.

Do you supply the metal?

Yes. We can source material for your job, or work with material you supply. The quote will say which.

Do you take small jobs?

Often, yes. Tell us what you need and we'll let you know honestly whether it's a good fit.

Do you weld on site?

Yes, with portable equipment in Lake County and nearby Central Florida. Some repairs are better done in the shop. We'll recommend the safest, most practical option. More about mobile welding.

Do you handle emergency repairs?

Yes. Emergency service is available, including after-hours field repairs for commercial customers. Text 352-530-7750 with a photo, the location and what's broken.

Why text instead of calling?

Lucas handles quotes and scheduling by text and email, not phone calls. Measurements, photos and prices stay in writing, so nothing gets lost and you have a record of what was agreed.

Do you handle repeat production orders?

Yes. Once a part is set up, re-ordering is simple: send the part name or drawing and the quantity. Ask about batch pricing.

What affects price and turnaround?

Material, size, quantity, complexity, finishing, setup time, location, and the shop's current schedule. We'll confirm timing with your quote rather than promise a number up front.
